Its been 2 weeks I`ve started to playing games on acer predator helios 300 but When i was playing the game, i noticed a temperature under my fingers. And i opened the predator sense.GPUs temperature was normal but CPUs temperture was more tha 90. Is that normal. It was like that at the first times too.Don`t ask about the "experimental games".This is my way of tricking myself. It says "mysrgc , you are not an gaming addict ".

Yes, its normal because Predator and Nitro products are engineered to withstand higher operating temperatures than traditional notebooks. These systems include features that help with cooling and heat dispersion. The CPU and GPU are designed to handle temperature spikes in excess of 98 degrees Celsius without causing damage to the components. It is common for PC temperatures to spike temporarily during heavy gaming or graphic usage. If the system encounters excessive temperatures that could damage the hardware, it will automatically shut down to protect the components from becoming damaged.

Try cooling using cooling pad or can use Thermal paste to reduce the heat

What is your fan setting? Auto or custom?
i would recommend set manually in the Predator sense that when you gaming use custom fan running at 80 percent speed.
I have done some thermal test myself, I noticed our Predator sense auto fan speed does not “auto” that efficiently.
Max fan is not needed as per my own test.
I owned acer Predator Helios 300 2019 version too. On the coolboost as well.

mysrgc not normal at all especially if its the 2019 model its pre undervolted shouldnt even go over 80 send it back asap to get it repasted you have a bad stock paste application check if they would use the thermal paste you could provide to them if so get some kryonaut and get them to apply it (properly)

4,500 RPM custom fan for CPU and GPU. Turn Coolboost on. Use cooling pad or put a book under when gaming.

Hey, I found a solution to system temp problem, as I have posted above my system temps used to go 85C+, what I did was went in bios and reset the bios to initial settings, after that my system temps went max 74C on max fan, you can try this out, hope it helps!

Shantanu7 no need to revive old threads i suggest if you have issues to open a new thread and you should optimise windows properly undervolt it further with ts (if previously undervolted n stock) check here  if still needed repaste it with kryonaut or similar if you can without voiding your warranty or get acer to repaste it with stock paste and make sure the back its lifted at all times 2/3 inches for a proper airflow

It’s not normal actually when the temperature goes above 90 degrees. I have been suffering for more than one year now and the solution is very simple. It’s just adjust the CPU frequency once plugged in.

my system temperature is more than CPU temparature at all given times. This is at idle without playing games.

I have the same problem. Even changing the thermal paste and thermal pads the problen persists, the temperature is really high for normal use.

You can always try ThrottleStop software to underclock your cpu I can play apex legends and keep GPU and CPU temps at 70C fans on normal with boost and on a raised laptop tray. System temp still gets up to 80C but all in all feels better. Im running a 2k monitor also
