Hey all,

I have a S271HL monitor that recently (over the last couple days) has been having the on screen display randomly popping on and off. I didnt even know there were buttons other than the power button on the monitor until this came up. I've found that pressing one of the buttons and holding it down turns it off, but I havent been able to find a way to permanently push that button. I have had the monitor for probably 4 years, and it has worked flawlessly until now. I attached a picture of what I am talking about.

Try to do power drain test on your monitor..

Unplug all the cables from the monitor
If the cable is inbuilt please don't try to remove it.
Hold the power button for 1 minute
    Plug all the cables back.
Turn on the monitor and check..

If it is not working fine ..

Using the control buttons on the monitor try to reset the settings to defaults and then check..   It should work fine..

hi all. I have a new symptom. This is starting to show up. Should I cut my losses and buy a new monitor, or is this fixable? Thanks.

Any chance you have a sticky button?
