    Yeh that error is pre boot leave it off! I don't think Kali distributes a valid cert which you can import , what happened with single user on and secure boot off?
    Seems to want to boot, has gotten further than any other option. Just sits on cursor endlessly seems.

    What's the full kernel line you are using when you get that? And is it static or blinking?

    Try hitting cntrl + alt + f1.  Through F10, see if any of the other TTYs respond

    If a BIOS supervisor password has been set -- and secure boot has been turned off --- and the kali boot stick still won't boot from either usb port ---  then I suggest re-making the Kali iso installation stick on the AO1-431 itself in the Windows environment using Rufus freeware. The stick must be prepared from the iso using GPT partition scheme, FAT32 format for a UEFI bootstrapper.

    That was in failsafe mode plus what you suggested. Will see about trying that when I have a moment later thanks.

    Will likely have to wait till next week to give that a go, going to get a new usb for that.
    thanks for the suggestion. Do you think a 64gig thumb drive would be good for this or a 32 would work better for the interface in terms of compatibility or does that matter?

    No, a plain vanilla 16GB USB is actually preferred for FAT32. Bigger capacities often cause issues.

    Thanks, it’s been a while since I played with that. Hopefully tomorrow will see and let you know. Didn’t mean to “accept answer.” Hopefully that won’t affect the thread.

    @Lightnin

    Have you hit F9 ( Load Optimized Defaults) and then F10 (Save and Exit) in BIOS before trying to boot.

    Thanks for checking. Haven’t had an opportunity unfortunately to check. Ended up having to go out of state. When I get back will likely be tomorrow to try
