    Did you try it on acer nitro ? I think bios there different then in predator...

    Ctrl+s is universal for Acer BIOS and yes, it works on Nitro.

    Gonna try to take it to geek squad see if they can make the laptop stop from rebooting over and over again

    I search for crtl + s, it's seems to work in bios -> go to main tab, then press "ctrl + s" then move arrows up and down, and the sata mod will appear... try that, but now you have BSOD, and it seems to be ram problem, try remove all devices from laptop (ram,all ssd drives, battery) then insert only ram stick and boot in bios. after that, shut down, insert ssd and try to boot windows, if you have error, shut down, move ram to other slot and try to boot again.

    Yes, it may not help, as batmalin said, but you can try, just do it very carefully. If during the BIOS update you interfere with or turn off the computer, then it will no longer boot... the worst thing is to change the motherboard, or bios chip.
    so for now I think is good try all the manipulations with the drivers and leave the BIOS for later



    I have an Acer an515-57 does that matter with the pic above saying an515-51

    In your model, does the vmd controller appear?

    If it appears, do it again:
    a) on windows: press windows+r and type msconfig. Go into system boot and enable safe boot. Then restart windows.
    b) in bios: go to main tab, press ctrl+s and disable vmd controller. Windows will install the driver by safe boot. Then disable safe boot
    c) Reinstall samsung magician and check if the issue is resolved.

    Well i returned the laptop and got another acer nitro but from their site instead of best buy and now im not having any issues like i did before thanks guys for taking time out your day and helping me out
