Just like the title says I think my predator sense is glitching its not detecting the correct CPU temp and stuck at 25C while HWINFO shows its 100C. In result the fans were not auto adjusting and stays at 2500 rpm I had to turn it up manually to MAX. Anyone knows a fix?
What ive already tried:
Reinstalling Predator Sense from the acer official support site

    Hi Ajimu,

Thanks for the detailed post. What you're seeing is a known issue where PredatorSense misreads CPU temps—often getting stuck at 25 °C—while tools like HWiNFO show the real (and much higher) values. This mismatch causes the auto fan control to fail, since PredatorSense thinks the system is cool.

Here are a few things you can try:

🔧 Steps to Fix the Temp Reading Bug

    1. Fully uninstall PredatorSense:
      • Use the Control Panel or Settings > Apps to uninstall.
      • Then go to C:\Program Files\ and C:\ProgramData\ and delete any leftover PredatorSense folders.
    2. Reboot, then reinstall the latest version from the Acer Support site.
    3. Update your chipset and Intel ME drivers—these can affect sensor communication.
    4. Check BIOS version: If you're on an older BIOS, updating it may help restore proper telemetry.
    5. Avoid sleep mode for now: Some users report the bug appears after resuming from sleep. A full shutdown/restart resets the sensors temporarily.

If none of that helps, you might want to set a custom fan curve manually in PredatorSense as a workaround, or use HWiNFO + FanControl for more reliable thermal management.

Let us know how it goes—this issue has popped up for others too, so your feedback could help others down the line.

I've got the same PHN16-71 model with the i5-13500HX cpu and the RTX4050 gpu running 64GB ram at 2x 32GB DDR5-4800MT/s CL40 type Crucial Micron ram modules and this is my HWiNFO64 sensor and Predator Sense shown below the same as yours. Also, I’ve disabled the Intel gpu in bios and PS and I’m only running my PHN16-71 on the NVidia gpu. In comparison, your PHN16-71 is running allot hotter than mine, the below HWiNFO64 sensor is after about 3.5 hours of operation and not just after a fresh boot.

Have you updated the bios to the version 1.17 and also what I’ve found that increasing ram capacity in these laptops makes these laptops run allot cooler as these laptops can run up to 128GB ram but I have definite proof of a community member running his PH3D15-71-99B2 at 96GB at 2x 48GB comfortably but his DDR5-5600MT/s CL46 is running at that capacity at 400MT/s speed, so these laptops need ram to run better and allot cooler. Try all that and run 64GB ram. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.

This is my HWiNFO64 and Predator Sense as you have shown above.

The above Predator Sense is this version:
