I just realized with my recent upper case, screen and lower case repair that I did myself, my Spin is from 2019 or 2020. I can see why the cases were so damaged worn from those years of use but not abuse.
With the new cases my Spin 5 looks brand new and I honestly dont notice lag or delays from the older Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz 1.50 GHz
I dont do heavy computing such as gaming or intense graphics apps. My computer is basically used for everyday use emails, microsoft office, browering and music.
It seems with a recent repair to my Windows Home 11, I dont have the finger print scanner use anymore and when I downloaded Acer software to see if I could put it back, it had a date of 2020? And it didnt work? I still have the pin attached to my Spin 5, which is fine. But I did like having the fingerprint sign in as well
Wonder if my Spin is no longer being updated for newer software? All the acer software is from 2020 and seems stock with what it came with? I do Intel and aftermarket apps that show if a driver needs an update, but I feel microsoft is limiting my updates or not showing me ones. Yes I have gone through the steps to see if any add opt updates are there and its alwats 0?
My motherboard is running strong and no issues with Acer parts motherboard, charging port etc. I have replaced the battery 1 time but its at 90% now and still going strong, with that being said, I feel I like I have gone past the longevity of my Spin or?
