To manage and change battery settings in Windows 11, navigate to Settings > System > Power & battery and explore options like power modes, screen and sleep timeouts, and energy recommendations to optimize battery usage.

    Accessing Battery Settings & Usage:
Open Settings by clicking the Start button and selecting Settings, or press Win + I.
Navigate to System > Power & battery.
You can also click the arrow to the right of Battery Usage.

    Power Modes:
Windows 11 offers different power modes, such as "Best power efficiency", "Balanced", and "Best performance".
To change the power mode, click the battery icon on the taskbar and drag the slider to the desired mode.

    Screen and Sleep Settings:
Adjust screen and sleep settings to minimize battery drain when not in use.
Go to Settings > System > Power & battery > Screen, sleep, & hibernate timeouts to configure these setting

You can also hard reset an Acer laptop with a battery reset pinhole for power and battery-related issues.

First ensure the laptop is turned off and unplugged from the AC adapter. Locate the battery reset pinhole on the bottom of your laptop, usually marked with a battery icon. Using a small paperclip or a similar object, press and hold the reset button inside the pinhole for about 5 seconds. After releasing the button, wait for approximately 5 minutes before plugging in the AC adapter and powering on your laptop. This process temporarily disconnects and reconnects the internal battery.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

Hi, in addition to the above comments; don't use any Battery Monitoring bloatware, don't try to limit battery charging to 80% (that's a myth) and don't use Battery Optimization and Calibration in Acer Care Center and Acer Sense. If you just installed a new battery or clean installed Windows OS you have to do the One Full Charge Cycle routine (see the link for details), you do that only once and not needed for a new laptop as this has been done by Acer in the factory.
