ACER Nitro ANV15-41 - Black screen issue!!

Hi all,

I need some help here because it almost seems a mystery to what happens with these Acer Nitro machines!

My laptop is in Warranty and is in the process of being repaired however I still would like to hear some feedback to what my issue could be related to and if anyone else has experienced it.

Randomly my laptop display just goes to a black screen and no matter what I've tried I cannot seem to get it stable enough to work. It boots initially fine and shows the Acer Nitro logo but then instantly goes black. I've reinstalled GPU/CPU drivers and even reinstalled Windows 11 from scratch. I don't think its hardware related as it never cuts out mid session its always from boot and it always does display the Acer logo.

I've heard a few stories about these Nitro machines and displaying a black screen and wondering if anyone can help with maybe what fixed there's. Also to note it does work when plugging an HDMI into a monitor… but it never recognises the internal display. I've done all the basic troubleshooting so I know its not something super simple.

Thanks everyone

This is a hardware problem that is related either to the EC or Chipset chips as they are faulty and shortening out, it could also be an eDP faulty cable that cause a black screen. Acer Tech support should check all these aspects of your ANV51-41 laptop and change the mainboard and the eDP cable, as this should not be happening to a new laptop. Let us know what the solution was.
