Audio distortion when using discord and other audio application on Predator Helios Neo 18

Before the Predator Helios 18 i had the Acer Aspire 3 (windows 10) I used the same programs and audio hardware as now but now suddenly when i want to used discord the audio is not working well when connected to discord. Specially when loading a game with audio it gets even worse. Both audio coming from discord chats and audio coming from the game both are distorted and far away. As soon as i disconnect from discord everything is fine again after some seconds. I tried to change audio outputs and inputs and results are sometimes a bit better but still not close to fine. This should not be the case with this new expensive laptop.

On a particular game, COD, i get also audio changing when just loading the game (without using discord). If i was listening to something on YouTube suddenly it changes the audio from YT. In this case i can still hear YT fine but it sounds like if im listening from a very old cheap sound system.

So somehow my Predator can't handle audio well and with other computers i never had such experience. Can somebody explain what causes this distortion and can i fix it?

Uninstall all the audio Realtek and Intel through Device Manager and uninstall the NVidia and audio drivers with DUU completely, then reinstall them with the oem Acer drivers that the Predator PH18-71 0r 72 laptop was installed from Acer initially and see if those old drivers will fix this problem, as windows update will update all these drivers to the most appropriate and suitable drivers for your PH18-71 or 72 model laptop that you have. Try that and let us know if it fixes the audio distortion. Good luck.
