    Yes, I disabled secure boot before running the batch file. It would appear that the BIOS or the motherboard itself is the problem but as there's no way for me to flash the BIOS I'm stuck with it. I'll have to find a replacement motherboard.

    Have you tried removing the backup battery and unplug from AC then let it sit overnight or longer if you can ??

    I can find no other instructions except the one that I post, there is usually a one click install but not on yours.

    You don't have a UCP folder in your package as other update's has the UCP folder ?

    No, there is no UCP folder in any of the BIOS update downloads for this model.

    Yes, I have removed the battery and I have tried a CMOS reset by moving the jumper, the issue remains.

    Let it sit longer to discharge (drain)all power from the mother board and the bios chip. Over night at least.

    Holding the power button for a minute or so may work but I'd do overnight unplugged and the battery removed to completely drain/reset.
