I've had issues with my bluetooth audio for a while now before where my headphones would audibly say connected but audio would play through the speakers instead, then it would say connected again and it would work fine, but now whenever I connect to bluetooth it just does this thing where I can see the audio muting and unmuting really fast and when I try to watch something or play a game it doesn't play any audio at all. I restarted my pc the first time then it was fine but now it's doing the same thing again. Can anyone help me please?

I suggest that you first refresh the Bluetooth driver by following the below steps and if this persists then uninstall the Wi-Fi and BT drivers and then reinstall them with your PCs oem Acer drivers from the Acer Drivers and Manuals page and allow windows update to update them later on to their latest versions suitable for your PC, as doing this should solve this Bluetooth connection problem.

    Bluetooth and Wi-Fi driver refresh

Go to > Device Manager > Bluetooth > select the Wireless Bluetooth > right click the card Properties > Driver > Update Driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > and then pick the last and most recent dated BT driver that is in that list, and reinstall that driver, as afterwards your BT should work.

I don't know what my PCs oem drivers means. I clicked the Acer drivers page and I cant find any drivers for wifi or whatever BT is. And I don't know when the next windows update will be. I don't want to uninstall these drivers if I don't have a way to download them back if I uninstall the wifi driver

PC oem is what Acer model your PC is? As you haven't told us what it is? If you can't find drivers at the Acer Drivers and Manuals page for Bluetooth or WLAN then your laptop is too old and Acer has stopped support, as its impossible that your laptop doesn't have either a WLAN card only or a combination WLAN/BT card driver(s) on the Acer support page.

What is your PC laptop or desktop model number? If its a laptop it should be something like these numbers, if its an Aspire its either an A315-xx or the newer model is an Aspire A14-5xx, if its a Nitro its an AN515-xx or the newest models are ANV15-xx, do not give us what the model number is written on the back sticker like a number like this: N20C1, as that is not how your laptop model number is identified by. get back to us with appropriate and exact information of your Acer product before we can give you correct advice. Good luck.
