Acer Predator PH16-71 Keyboard LEDs stuck on static blue, can't change color or effects

Before I begin, I must add that I know nothing about computers.

Now that it's out of the way: my LEDs are no longer changing colors. The keyboard only stays on a static blue color. I can no longer change the color like I used to be able to. When the computer turns on, it will have an effect and be blue. However, after it turns on, all effects are also not working. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Predator Sense twice now, it didn't work. I also tried going to Services and selecting the Acer Lighting to change the priority to high. Acer Lighting isn't and wont run (so i can't change the priority)? I'm so lost, please help.

Hi, I just got the Neo version: PHN16-71-50JG and it installed a new version of PredatorSense from the Windows Store, you have to learn how to control the RGB keyboard: Go to Area Control first:

and then activate the zone you want to change and select a color on the right panel (I selected white 255):

1 Search for services and open services app

2 right click Acer lightning services.

3 click on the recovery tab

4 change first, second, and subsequent failures options to (restart the service) and apply.

5 restart acer lightning service.

6 restart pc and check

Hi, unfortunately this did not fix my issue. It still only lights up blue even after i selected different colors.

I understand how to change the colors, something is keeping my keyboard from actually applying the colors i choose.

Try to reinstall Predator Sense.

having the same exact problem. Acerlightingservices keeps shutting off for whatever reason and even the restart script mentioned above doesn't help. Tried reinstalling predator sense, downgrading predator sense, uninstalled the keyboard HID, fully udpated my windows. noTHING AT ALL. I've had this problem before and have no clue how I fixed it, but after my motherboard replacement and a clean windows 11 install it's got this problem again

In the apps sections, try to uninstall everything related to Predator Sense.

Hey so i have no idea what fixed it, but after a blue screen it magically started working? :'o, was peacefully playing FFXV and after not even 3 minutes of being in the game my laptop bluescreened and when it turned back on my RGB worked again. HOWEVER, now after a few days the entire driver doesn't work anymore as in, i can't see the statistics :sobbing:. It still goes on performance mode but it doesn't show that it does on the button. Before shutting off i do shortly see my keyboard flash purple but then it's off so idk HAHA. aNYWAY for some reason a bsod fixed it
