Hi, the by Acer preinstalled Office365 program is not a license but a yearly subscription with the first year free. I recommend you uninstall Office365 and buy a proper lifetime license Office 2021 Home and Students for around $150 Buy Office Home 2024 for PC or Mac (formerly Home & Student) - Download & Pricing | Microsoft Store
Don't buy local cheaper Office "licenses" as these are pirated copies and won't be updated by Microsoft.
To uninstall your Office365 use this link: https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC and Click Open if you get a pop-up window indicating "This site is trying to open Get Help". When this fails try again till you see "Success" and also uninstall Office365 in Windows Add and remove programs (click on the 3 dots).

Hi @Gracey Office is an application whose license must be purchased from Microsoft and is not included. This is a common practice in all brands of laptops or desktops, it is not just an Acer issue.

Some computers may include a trial version valid for 30 days, after which you can buy the license or you have to uninstall Office.

There may also be specific offers on some models with a 1-year subscription to Office 365 with a free duration of 6 months, after which you must buy it to activate the subscription with Microsoft for another 6 months.

For students, there may also be special offers where the purchase of the computer includes a Microsoft® Product Identification (MPI) card that activates a full version of Microsoft Office Home & Student.

An alternative to paid Office is the free versions of LibreOffice.
