As indicated in the title, the Acer NVIDIA driver has not yet been updated to address the Advanced Optimus issue with SteamWebHelper.exe, which prevents switching from iGPU to dGPU for GSync and related functions. To ensure an optimal user experience for Acer Nitro 14 users without the need for manual mode switching, please update the driver.Attached is a screenshot illustrating the issue.

The NVIDIA driver version is the latest one released by Acer for my model: 31.0.15.4632 (546.32).

NVIDIA website link adressing the issue - https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5526/

NVIDIA have it fixed since 551.76 driver version
Link and screenshot indicating that - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/221875/

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Hi @Kugumin

In Windows services, please stop the services that are related to the application Steamwebhelper.exe and then try to change the display mode in the Nvidia control panel.

There aren't any services related to that part of Steam. Basically, Steamwebhelper is a browser inside a Steam client, so I can open the store and so on. It's broken with the official Acer driver for my laptop's dGPU. It just needs to be updated, and not using some compromises. It's an issue from NVIDIA's side, which was fixed a long ago, but the Acer driver still hasn't.
