A715-74G not turning on

Hey, there!

Recently, my Aspire 7 A715-74G randomly stopped turning on. It’s weird, because I used it the day before and it was working perfectly fine.

However, when I plug in the charger an orange light comes up, but if I press the power button, nothing happens.

If just someone could help, I really need it for school. Thank you!

Hi, reset the battery by inserting a pin in the small pinhole in the back of the laptop with a battery sign. Push the pin down till you feel it click and keep pushing for 5 seconds, remove the pin, plug in the adapter and try to boot.

    (1) Unplug the charger.
    (2) Press & hold power button for about 30 seconds to auto reset/disconnect the battery from the mainboard.
    (3) Plug charger back in.
    (4) If battery charge LED is lit, wait for it to turn steady blue before trying to turn it on.
    (5) If battery charge LED is unlit or blinking, remove charger again and snug up the bottom cover screws
    (6) Plug charger back in.
    (7) If charge LED is still unlit, then yes arrange for warranty repair
