Sorry to say but seems like the laptop is way underdimensiode regarding power. Fake marketing if you ask me, so beware that the laptop will drain the battery pretty fast even if its plugget in and it seems that there is no way around it

Thanks for contacting Acer Technical Support!

Unfortunately the computer model, according to the Product specifications on our Support Page, lists that the unit you have has a Maximum Power Supply Wattage of 135W. As such, it is not compatible with the 180W one.

Best regards,

The Anv16-41 battery may drain quickly even when plugged in due to a few possible reasons. First if the battery is old or has degraded it may not hold a charge efficiently causing it to discharge faster than it charges. Additionally using an incompatible 180W charger could lead to insufficient power delivery as the charger might not be able to provide the correct voltage or current required by the battery especially if its not designed for the device. Overheating from mismatched power output could also accelerate battery drain. Its best to use the recommended charger for optimal performance.

Hi Christian, as I wrote on that other link where you commented My battery is going down in nitro ANV16-41 — Acer Community
the Acer Nitro V ANV16-41 can be charged with a 180-W barrel plug power adapter. In fact, using a higher wattage adapter like the 180-W one can help ensure that the laptop performs optimally, especially when running demanding applications or games. Leave the adapter plugged in 24/7 to make sure the battery is always fully charged to 100%. Also check in Task Manager-Processes how many apps are running at the background, if more than 70 you need to uninstall the ones you don't need, also check Startup apps and disable the ones with high impact. Both Acer and Microsoft have released fixes recently that mitigate possible excessive battery usage by Modern Standby in Windows11 23H2 so check your BIOS version and update Windows.
