When will the 0x12b BIOS update for PO5-655-UB22 be available?

It looks like the most recent BIOS update for the my system only has the 0x129 firmware and not yet the 0x12b.

Is there a general sense of how long it takes for these BIOS updates to become available after the firmware is released? It looks like 0x12b was announced in late September.

I'm just nervous about permanent damage to my CPU in a brand new system and want to do whatever I can to reduce that risk:

We just have to wait for update as there's no information when will acer release. As The timeline for public release can vary, often taking several weeks after the firmware announcement.

If you're concerned about CPU damage, it's advisable to monitor your system's temperatures and voltages while waiting for the update. You should regularly check Acer's support site for the latest information on BIOS availability

Use Msi Afterburner for real time monitoring while playing games or Use Monitoring Software: Tools like HWMonitor, Core Temp, or SpeedFan can track CPU temperatures, voltages, and fan speeds. They provide real-time data and alerts when temperatures exceed safe limits. Also I heard Many monitoring applications allow you to set thresholds for temperature and voltage. Configure alerts to notify you if these values exceed recommended levels . Searching for it if needed.

Btw,Try turning off turbo boost temporary until update as it increases lot of heat.

    Hi,

Predator's PO3-650 series already has firmware with the Intel Microcode (MCU) 0x12B update for Intel's 13th and 14th generation CPU problem:

Acer could publish a roadmap with a schedule of which models will receive these updates and when they will be available.
