You want to buy and upgrade to new ssd? It is recommend to install os on SSD due to it fast speed and performance.

The Nitro AN515-53 laptops M.2 SSD drive slot max speed is for a PCIe3x4 type drive, don't fit Gen 4 x4 M.2 SSD drives as they are wasted. If you want to clone th eOS to a bigger drive then the quickest PCIe3x4 M.2 2TB SSD dive is the SK Hynix Gold P31 2TB or if you want the quickest PCI3x4 1TB M.2 SSD drive then fit the WD Blue SN580 1TB which is the quickest benchmarked M.2 SSD drives tested by an independent tester. I also suggest that if you buy the Hynix or the WD M.2 SSD drives that you use their oem suggested cloning software which for WD is the Acronis True Image for WD and for Hynix its the SK Hynix System Migration Utility. If you upgrade to 32GB ram kit for this laptop max ram and to a quick Gen 3 x4 M.2 SSD drive, you will improve your laptop by at least 200% in speed and response.
