I was using Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200 SODIMM on my laptop and it was running on 3200 Mhz and I recently added same Crucial RAM 16GB DDR4 3200 SODIMM and the problem is I am only getting 2933 Mhz.

If anyone knows the fix. Please tell me the solution

Check if the two modules are identical and at least have the same CL timing.

I believe that this MOBO maximum buss speed between the RAM module and CPU is 1466MHz or 2933 for double data rate (DDR) RAM. Accordingly, the 3200MHz DDR RAM module will automatically downshift to 2933MHz to match the maximum RAM buss speed.

Both RAM is of same CL timing. Same company and same frequency.

Is there any way to know the maximum RAM speed supported by the laptop? @Puraw
    thank you in advance

The max ram speed supported by the PH315-54 is 3200MHz, CL22, that Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200Mhz must be a different speed/spec 16GB ram module or Crucial have marked the ram wrongly, as there is no way that and if you put 2x 16GB DDR4-3200MHz CL22 type ram in DIMM Slot 1 and 2 that you will get a speed of 2933Mhz as it should be 3200MHz, I've got a Nitro 5 AN515-56 that has 2x 16GB DDR4-3200MHz CL22 type ram and these two modules run at 32GB total and at speed of 3200MHz in Task Manager > Memory > Speed section.

Run the below Acer recommended highlighted 16GB DDR4-3200MHz type ram or match the oem 16GB module fitted by Acer and buy an exact 2nd 16GB DDR4-3200MHz CL22 ram module and DO NOT use the Crucial ram modules, as the below ram is what Acer recommends for your Predator PH315-54 laptop, and what your laptops memory specs are.

Good question, difficult to answer, my source below quotes maximum 2933Mhz Clock speed, Acer states your model supports 3200MHz RAM, some only can get 2933MHz with two identical modules like you (2022 model) @Aabeissue managed to get 3200MHz but does not post how. IMO the RAM bandwidth is limited to 1466MHz x 2 = 2932 MHz maximum with 2 identical Cl 20 DDR4 modules. You could try it with 2 x CL 22 DDR4 3200 MHz modules.
