I purchased the laptop yesterday with intel core i5 1235U, 16GB of ram, 512GB of SSD and 2GB Nvidia GPU. After I installed the windows, the laptop started acting up. The screen would freeze completely! Mouse won't move and even the task manager won't show up! Only way to get out is to hard reset by pushing and holding the power button... I tried different versions and editions of windows, and the problem still insisted! I performed a RAM and SSD check up and they were working fine too.

Bring your laptop back to the retailer or send it to Acer Services in your country (Set up repair: https://community.acer.com/en/kb/articles/583-set-up-repair-for-your-acer-product)

All the problems that you are having should not be happening with a brand-new laptop, I've got the same laptop the A515-57-56UV (that dosent have the NVidia dedicated GPU) and it works perfectly and flawlessly with Win-11.

You don't need to install windows in this laptop as it comes preinstalled with Win-11, all you need to do is to update windows and install this laptops latest dedicated NVidia GPU games ready driver from NVidia site, then install the GeForce Experience software and then install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant so that it can scan your laptop for all the Intel new drivers and have everything up to date and that's all that you have to do. Also, and with your A515-57G I would update the bios to the last Version: 1.22, as the bios updates have got some gpu improvements that Acer has updated in the bios also for your A515-57G laptop.

There is no reason why your A515-57G should not be working perfectly, these laptops with the i5-1235U, 16GB (can be updated to 32GB see below) of ram, with this laptops PCIe 4 x4 boot M.2 SSD - 512GB drive, which makes this laptops very quick, this is especially if you upgrade and install to the max ram of 32GB and a fast M.2 Gen 4 x4 drive like the Samsung 990 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD drive.

Upgrade to 2x 16GB for total of 32GB of the ram type highlighted below
