Predator Helios 500 - black screen but key board lights up

iv got a predator Helios 500. The screen stays black, It appears to lighten up a bit but no picture. Key board lights up fine and the battery seems ok. Tried the battery reset but no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve already tried the reset. No change

Any other ideas? Or is this a throw away?

There are 2 ways:

1. Either wait until the charge on the laptop gets over and than try to press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and than connect the charger.
2. Try to remove the Ram and wait for 2 minutes and than connect it back. Make sure while doing this do not damage any other parts or it might void the warranty

RAM needs replacement if cleaning does not work.

To clean the RAM, rub clean the contact points using thumb size pencil/pen eraser or steel sandpaper(fine). Slight cleaning only, not to much to point that the contact points becomes shiny or like a brand new one.
