Do not buy acer nitro 5 Could not play games, the graphics was lagging and could not repair

I thought I will be so happy with my laptop, booked my ticket to travel to Thailand. All problems just started when I arrived there. THe computer just shut off suddenly and did not turn on anymore. I had to take it to service so they repair it.

But before that the computer was throttling all the time. Could not play games, the graphic was lagging. And I could not take it to repair it under warranty becuase I was in asia.

So now after few months the computer is not working at all. The graphic card is not working properly. The battery is dead.

THIS COMPUTER IS THE WORSE PIECE OF GARBAGE I EVER HAD: They tried to make something cheap. There is no proper cooling, it overheats...battery died completely after 1 year, it shut down before so I had to take it to service. They told me the ram died too the second time it did not turn on. THIS IS A BAD COMPANY: STAY AWAY

roccosifreddi sorry to read that you have had/have problems with your Nitro 5 laptop, what is the exact Nitro 5 model number, as imo and my experience you must have done something wrong and not maintained updated this laptop properly. I'm speaking from personal experience as I've got a Nitro 5 2021 model AN515-56 laptop and it works perfectly without any of the problems that you had/have ever. This laptop needs to be setup and especially operate on Win-11 22H2 and the latest OS build 22621.963 and its bios updated, OS and all drivers need to be updated to their latest versions first.

With the turning off problems all you needed to do is to do a hard reset by taking the main, bios batteries out and the ram out, as that does a hard reset and in 99% of times fixes the turning off problems. The latest Nitro 5 laptops need their drivers updated like its Intel drivers and NVidia and GeForce Experience for ultimate NVidia settings for your gpu and may games that NVidia has settings for, you also need all windows updates to be up to date for this laptop to work properly.

Don't know how you have setup and used this laptop, as it seems to me that you haven't done it correctly, hence and why you have the problems that you have and had, as it doesn't seem to me that your laptop had any hardware problems. Also, calling and branding "THIS COMPUTER IS THE WORSE PIECE OF GARBAGE I EVER HAD" is wrong and definitely not true and you should have had your laptop look at by Acer while this laptop was under warranty. The Nitro 5 laptops are a great gaming laptop for a great price, always were and always will be, as that is the purpose that Acer designs these laptops for.
