so i recently got this computer used. the seller told me it was almost new. i checked everything and indeed it was barely used. i use it for a while all works then I switch to wireless keyboard and mouse then one day when Im charging my mouse i try to use te touchpad and it is gone, no pointer, using f7 doesn't change anything, i go to devices and realize that the drivers arent working so i uninstall the device and a few seconds later the touch pad works again. so i continue with my life and then nothing, no pointer so i navigate to devices using thee keyboard and realize it is the same, it cant load the description, cant initialize the drivers error 10 so i go to the community and find that this is a software error on acer's side because the drivers cant be updated or they used the wrong manufacturer for the touchpad which enters in conflict with the drivers or somehow the previous but set the default faulty drivers and the best drivers so at this point i try to contact the guy from the post that i found, i make an account, get the "this page isn't working " from acer when i try to sign in so i wait and now that I'm able to sign in i see there are no PM and there is no solution.

this is the list of references and things i did so far:

Im using wireless mouse and keyboard so it usually doesn't bother me but at some point i need to charge the batteries and when that happens i am transporter to the dark ages when all you needed to control a computer is the keyboard and that is annoying as hell!

not to mention that when i tried to register this computer it was already registered, is there also a way to change its ownership? or do i need to contact the previous owner so he can do something about the registered computer?

    FN+F7.

If the Win10 OEM touchpad drivers from this link don't resolve the issue, then try iobit's DriverBooster freeware to see if it can find any better drivers on line.

Registration is mainly for warranty purposes, not to establish ownership. Standard warranty is one year. Usually not transferrable.
