Dang it, now it gets a lot more complex... It is possible the issue is two applications conflicting with each other, meaning they both have to be running to cause it. :(

The problem still occurs after everything being disabled on the services menu and the start up menu. Also how would I test if two applications are causing the problems?

Hey there, just letting you know I'm having the exact same issues and I'm watching this thread.  Same general situation; computer freezes at random, audio cuts, the mouse cursor disappears, keyboard Caps Lock light won't toggle.  Only way to fix is a hard reset.  Never happens while gaming.  PredatorSense has been long uninstalled.  Etc.

I do agree that it may be related to the PCI bus given the nature of the freezing.  I saw some folks mention the back USB 3.0 slots are bad, but even when avoiding to use those, I get the freeze.  I'm going to try Safe Mode myself today and attempt to narrow it down too.  I really hope it's something as simple as a driver or app issue, because I really don't want to have to return this PC

Please keep us informed as you go through the process... It never hurts to have multiple people looking at a problem.

    What’s my next step?

As I said, this is where it really gets complex. We need to come up with a combination of apps and services that causes the issue so it's basically doing the same as with one app, but trying it with each possible second. If we could get a BSOD then we could see the actual faulting module and work backwards from there. Maybe a more radical next step is indicated... Do a system backup and set it aside so we can always get back to where were are now, make sure it's set for a bare metal recovery including the full system drive. Next do a Windows clean install with a full wipe of the drive partitions when it gets to the screen asking you where to install. When the install is complete, assuming the network is running, let Windows Update do everything it thinks is needed and once it's saying there's nothing else left to do fire up Device Manager to make sure there's nothing flagged. If anything is flagged install the appropriate driver from Acer's support site. Now, before putting anything back on test for the error...

    OFF TOPIC

Sorry for not being of any help, but OP is way more patient than I'd be in his shoes. I would have returned the PC to the store eons ago or salvaged parts and used them in another build.

Sorry if I missed it, but if you are using Win 11 I'd most likely point my finger at it.

Good luck and hope you get it fixed! /OT

Once I order a usb stick I’ll do an fresh install of windows 10 (I prefer it because of some of its features) and see if the problem still occurs. If that doesn’t work then I’ll just continue to use the desktop as normal till summer. During summer I plan to do a case swap. This includes switching the case (duh), the motherboard and the psu.

I'm back, I received the usb and downgraded to windows 10. Not so surprisingly the problem occurred once again. What's my next step?

You could try LatencyMon as it might give some idea what is causing this. I'm not too optimistic though. Especially if the PC freezes completely and you have already installed Win 10.

Sorry, mate, I'm pretty much out of ideas.

While the program was running nothing obvious happened. If LatMon is running on the background and the PC started to have issues, maybe then the results will be more telling.

Do you use some aftermarket anti-virus software that might cause problems?

You have tried so many things already, so I think your PC "must" be cursed. I'm sorry I don't know what is going on or how to forward from here. I would not rule out some electrical/component problem that is making your life miserable. :(

I don’t have any antivirus software. It’s most likely hardware so I guess I’ll have to hold out until I have enough to case swap. Hopefully @Jovian has something that can help us since he also has the same problem.
