Hi everyone, i have some sort of a problem, when gaming temperature jumps to about 92-3 degrees on CPU and i can notice performance lost. I tried undervolting, it doesnt help, when getting disable turbo in throttlestop, the idle temperature gets ok - about 49 degrees, but when gaming its still the same 93. Any solutions? Maybe changing thermal paste will help? Laptop is nearly 1 year old but now i got more interested about temperatures that it gets, i cannot tell if its from the beginning of owning it, but i think it has become bigger problem few weeks ago.
Thanks for help!

    Hi,
Could you please post some pictures of Throttlestop settings, I'll try help you with some adjustments, in fact, best method of using Throttle stop is by trial and error, reading posts by other users also will help you.

This is an example but you can provide pictures of other settings as well:

These are my throttlestop settings, if you want tell me what option to click and i can show more :) With those settings, they help to lower idle but stress temperatures still go to 92-3 like i said, even with undervolting to about -120mV.

In the FIVR window, check the box for Unlock adjustable voltage, then use the slider for Offset voltage to reduce the voltage, good starting point will be -50mv, do the same for CPU Cache as well, you need to do these adjustments for Battery Profile as well, if you are not happy with the temperatures, reduce further in small numbers,  for example, you can reduce to -60mv and so on.

I already did this before i had it on something about -125mV.

Please check the picture you have posted, it's not saved and the box is unchecked and the slider is greyed out, did you click Apply and OK at the bottom?

In the Main window click Options, you click the box for AC and Battery profiles, then in the main window red circle denotes AC profile, yellow circle denotes Battery profile.

Use my pictures as a guide and adjust only the settings shown in my pictures, leave default settings as they are.

Also set offset voltage only to 70?

It's up to you, yes some of them you may have to adjust to different values latter on according to your requirements, for example I have set the offset voltage as -70.3mV but you may be able to go higher up, so you have to find the suitable settings for your system, of course you can copy my settings as a startup point.

Yes, change the battery profile number to 4, you can try reducing the offset voltage further in small amounts.

Looks like this still same, but ive noticed that my gpu goes on high frametime when in game - about 16-20ms, more high the gpu frame time goes the fps reduce more

I think that this can be caused by gpu can it?

Yes, you can move the slider to reduce it to up to -125mV like you had earlier, leave the cache at current level or move up slowly to -50mV.

So set cache to about -50mv and move up core to -125mV?
