Hi! My Predator Helios 300 (2019) went in to repair around a week ago - I still haven’t heard a single response or update from the repair team.

The issue is honestly very unknown to me, it shut off in the middle of an update, the fans sped up a lot and then wouldn’t turn back on again after despite the keyboard lighting up and fans starting.

Opened it up to clean the dust out but I can’t really see signs of overheating or the likes. I’ve changed the battery and ram in and out and nothing works.

I’m just stressed as I’m also a digital artist and I use my laptop to draw and it’s extremely stressful waiting at this time. Has anyone had experience with the repair centre? Do they usually take this long to give you at least a price quote?

I am really sorry for the inconvenience.   Unfortunately we don't have the details of the repair status of your computer.

Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.   On the new page - scroll down -  click on "contact support".  Scroll down.  You can find the phone no to contact the warranty dept.   They will provide you more details on this issue.    Check with them whether it is possible to contact the repair center.

I am not an ACER employee

Yeah the tracker just says it is in repair and has been that way for a week now but I haven’t been given a proposal cost to pay yet, is this normal?
