Firsrly, let me apologise cos' I created new discussion regarding my problem. I couldnt find any good answer yet.

I own an Aspire 3 (bought it 6 months ago) and recently, a problem keeps occuring and I couldnt figure out any solution.

The problem:

1. Scroll bar (google chrome for example) will keep scrolling down. Touchpad/mouse cursor will usually stay at the same spot, though.
And in 'desktop' too, where if I clicked the any 'icon', it will drop down the the lowermost icon on the 'desktop'. The cursor will still be at its original spot.

 - I already updated my windows to Windows 11, disabled my touchpad and mouse (changing the battery as well), uninstalled recent apps. But it still happens.

Does it happens because of the driver? I havent tested that one yet since someone from my IT department said it wasnt the problem with the driver.

Again, I apologise if there's already a post and answer regarding this.

    Hi,
Could you please post the full model name your laptop, like A314-xx, in the meantime, look for the battery reset pinhole at the base cover(you will find a small hole with a battery icon by the side of it), switch off the laptop, disconnect AC adapter and follow the instructions in the video, leave the laptop to rest for 15mins, reconnect AC adapter and fully charge the battery before start using.

    @Tirawud

Please reinstall the driver and check..   Try to use an alternative mouse and check.

Sometimes a simple system restore will fix the issue..

    Try windows x
click on power shell admin or command prompt admin
    type rstrui
chose an earlier date on which your computer was working fine
    click on next, finish, yes
It will restore your computer to an earlier date
if you get an message - system restore not completed - click on close
It will show you all the icons..

Try and check whether it is working now ..

Try to create a new user - set it as administrator - logout and login and check..

    Hi Tirawud,

    # Try to get the BIOS page.
    1. Turn OFF the unit.
    2. Press and hold the F2 key and turn on the unit.
    3. You will be in setup utility page.
    4. Once you got the screen release the F2 key.
    5. Tap on F9 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    6. Tap on F10 key and hit enter key without changing the option.
    7. Your unit will restart by itself.

Check this T/S and post the result.
