Hey,

I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 (2019) gaming laptop, which I use on a frequent basis for gaming.

Model No: PH317-53

Just two months ago, I had done servicing on it (dusting and repasting). But recently, I've been noticing something odd with my CPU temperatures.
My GPU temperature is in a desirable range (60-67 Celsius) but my CPU temps are much higher (sometimes 20 celsius higher).

Here is a screenshot of my temps when playing Assassin's Creed Origins on Quad HD resolution with the Fast overclocking mode enabled on my PredatorSense software.

My CPU's temperature range while playing that game was about 90-94 Celsius. Not just this game, but in other games my CPU is in the range of 80-85 Celsius atleast

So should I send my laptop for anotservice or can this problem be fixed by me?

    Hey @brummyfan2
    Thanks for the elaborate answer!
But I managed to find a solution on my own. All I did was tinker with some advanced settings in my Windows Power Plan (changed some CPU output value to 99% instead of 100%).
