I wonder if you're having a spike in power draw during gaming that is causing the system to just shut off suddenly.
That could be, when my laptop crashes and I restart it, sometimes it crashes again, even if i dont run anything graphical.

Download hwinfo and monitor ur gpu stats(memory clock, clock speed, power) while aida is running and heaven is running. Aida only gives mathematical calculations sorta things to stress the gpu whereas something like heaven will be a real graphics test. Before it crashes in heaven just see the stats.
this time, it also shut down with aida running, i filmed it, but i dont know how to post a video?

Did you notice the power? I couldn't find it in the sensor summary which you shared. I would recommened going into the sensors and scrolling down to the gpu section to see the power, unless I missed it here.
  • Just to make sure there is no sudden power outage, try placing a few layers of electrical tape over this button:

No not in aida64. Download hwinfo and click on the sensors tab. Then you will get a full list of all sensors.

nevermind, it worked the entire day without shutting down. I almost constantly played gpu intensive games, but for some reason it shut down again.

Then I think its a software issue. I had a similar issue and I downloaded a very old driver for the card and the problem vanished.

You can also check your thermal limit whether its set to something very low.

I think there is a software called asus gpu tweak 2. But in case it doesn't work completely uninstall it since it can mess with nvidia control panel.

What is your gpu? Its a 1070 or 1070 max?

I think your card is a 1070. It has a maximum power draw of 120W. And what I noticed was that when your power inched towards 120 your laptop shutdown. I think your power supply is not able to supply 120 w to the gpu. For example my laptop has a 1050 with a maximum power of 75 w but it doesnt go above 40w. So I think that may be your problem. In asus gpu tweak check your thermal limit first then if its quite high, go to the power limit and limit it to about 80% and see if the problem occurs.
