    Yes but only on the Y volume. The C volume should still have all your personal files since it's not being re-formatted.  Jack E/NJ

    Exit the command prompt. Then shut the machine off. Remove the USB stick. Then turn the machine on. Jack E/NJ

    Try it again two more times if needed. If it still fails after two more tires, press and hold the power button till it shuts down. Then remove the charger. Then gently press and hold a paperclip into the battery reset hole again for 30 seconds. Plug the charger back it. Turn it on again. If it still fails, we have at least two more options to try to bring it back. Jack E/NJ
