    You said earlier
    >>>>  I downloaded and was able to boot opening a command prompt. >>>

Did you try to boot this Microsoft media creation tool in UEFI mode before? The USB stick must be created for booting in  UEFI mode BIOS. Re-do the USB installation stick until you get it to boot in UEFI mode. Legacy mode is unacceptable. Jack E/NJ

Now the PC wont turn on.  Blue light blinks 5 times and nothing happens.  I opened the laptop and disconnected the battery , reconnected, still nothing happens.  It blinks 5 times.

The battery might be below critical charge level. Re-connect the battery pack. Plug the charger back in but don't try to turn the machine on till the battery charge light turns from blinking or steady orange to steady blue. This may take several hours. Jack E/NJ

Hi, So I downloaded the windows 10 again as instructed, I disable the secure boot on UEFI, and tried to boot from USB.  PC doesn't prompt to boot from USB in this mode.

Did you tap F12 immediately after turning on laptop to see a USB installation boot option? Jack E/NJ

I did the f12 and it only gives me Windows Boot option. No USB option.

Set and save a BIOS supervisor password. Then re-enter the BIOS  with the password and erase all secure boot settings. Try it again. Jack E/NJ

OK. At the diskpart > prompt enter 'select volume 3'. Then enter 'assign letter = y:' . Then again enter 'list volume'. Then again post phoneshot of result. Jack E/NJ

Sorry, you're post did not appear till now. Exit diskpart and go back to the command X : \ command prompt. Then enter these commands exactly in sequence. Command numbers 4 and 6 should give you a message that it was successful or at least no error message. Jack E/NJ

    (1) net user adminstrator  /active:yes
    (2) Y:
    (3) cd\efi\microsoft\boot
    (4) bootrec   /fixboot
    (5) ren bcd  bcd.backup
    (6) bcd boot /l en-us  /s     Y:  /f /all
    (7) exit

Try issuing the 'net user adminstrator  /active:yes' command after you're in the Y:\efi\microsoft\boot directory. Then enter a 'dir /a' command so we can see what's in that directory. Then try the 'bootrec /fixboot' command again. Jack E/NJ
