HI i have a ph315-52 . I bought it last year . i always had temps reacching 90-95 but thought it was not a problem . Recently i found out that it is not good for my laptop . SO i decided to undervolt using intel xtu . It didnt make any massive changes and also deleted my original undervolt offset . Somehow i got it back i think and then i thought to use THrottlestop to undervolt . Cpu temp dropped nicely and there was some fps drop also but not major . Since last 2 days im getting 70-80 fps in csgo . earlier is used to get 170-200 . I also set the undervolt back to -125 but its still not helping . My warranty also ended a month back and im scared whats going to happen . Fps drop in every game

Depressedteen dont use xtu use TS instead check here  and have u optimised your windows properly also you have never cleaned it neither had it repasted if so its time gaming laptops should be repasted/cleaned once per year especially if the temps go high suddenly clean the fans and exit airflow properly get some kryonaut or similar and repaste it and make sure the back its lifted 2/3" for a proper airflow good luck :)

Depressedteen if you keep thermal throttling your fps will not increase at all you will loose all the performance as the cpu/gpu will clock down to stock clocks to cool down in that case you only solution it what i already stated above

Hi i used the ts config you posted about . Im now getting fps in the range of 110-150 in csgo while earlier when i wrote my problem i was getting about in the range of 80-100 . I see a increase but it is also getting a bit more hot than before . I tested in csgo for about 10 mins and the cpu and gpu both were at 70 c . The fans are on automatic . Is the fps im getting correct for csgo in my laptop . My predator has intel i5 9th gen and gtx 1660 ti . Thank you in advance for all your help

Depressedteen hot than before with TS not possible have u optimised your windows also  everything up to 85'ish for the cpu and 70/75 max for the dgpu its completely fine i dont see any issues at all also bare in mind csgo its a really old game thats not even optimised for a 1050 as they didnt even existed when the game came out many years ago i dont play it myself but from what i had seen if you  play on the lowest settings you will get more fps as its that kind of game where all fps counts not the graphics quality :)

I used to get more than 170 fps on max settings in csgo but now im only getting 70-100 . Could my cpu be damaged because i increased and deceased the under volt value a few times . I know i have asked this question earlier but i have gotten no solution and im scared because my warranty is over

Depressedteen as i stated in your other thread most probably thermal throttling and u most probably need to replaste it properly with kryonaut or similar please stick to you other thread theres no point in opening multiple threads about the same issue it will only confuse everyone whos trying to help thanks :)
