I have detached the keyboard and I am using external keyboard now.
I am trying 2 different keyboards, usb ad bluetooth.
Sleeping mode is working with both.
No more crashes until now after replacement but I am careful and will wait and see.

I forgot to say 1 thing.
My laptop keyboard was replaced by Acer months ago and it worked well for months.
But is was a new keyboard or it was fixed and looked like new.
I am telling this because if others do not have the same problem, maybe this has something to do with it?

I am considering to buy a new machine, because I cannot work like this.
But the machine is not old enough for replacement.
But maybe I will be forced to buy an exra machine.
Because of these problems I may have to supscribe to office 365 and not a sinle licensefor Office 2019, because I need to be able to access my documents always, also from other machines if this machine gives problems again.
It will mean at least 1000 euro for what I need and also it took and will take so much time pfff.

The language doesn't make any difference. You are using Sleep mode (slaapstand, right?) for all options. Sleep mode will eventually shut down as the battery starts to lose charge, but shouldn't do it for quite a while. The only difference between yours and mine is the 'close the lid' when on battery mode, where I have it set to hibernate so it doesn't use battery.

I have to correct my previous message.
The behaviour changed somewhat. It is working better, but still some crashes and also after long sleep it will not wake up, only after reset with side button.
I have to do some more tests with fixed usb keyboard without bluetooth to be sure, so not to introduce othe possible problems.

I only set it to Engglish for better readability for you / others. If other  questions come I can easily send screenshots in English.
I know it does notsolve anything.

I never did test without AC-adaptor / did not try with battery only.

So if understand correctly, your machine is also not working like it should?
You have a similar prblem. Can you confirm or describe?
It is important so I can tell Acer that it is not only my problem.
The Acer-team in Holland do not have a Switch 7 to do tests.
It has to be passed to the international team.

I do not have any issues with sleep modes or with hibernate. I do have occasional issue with the keyboard, it changes into a mode where it acts like the NumLk key is acting up. I have to press NumLk twice to get it back to normal. The behavior where you have to click the power button to start the wake process after sleeping for a long period of time might be normal, if the battery is getting low. Sleep modes do use up battery, just not as quickly as when awake. That's why I have mine set to hibernate when I'm running on battery and close the keyboard. It doesn't run the battery down at all while in hibernate, and I still get back to where I left off with open documents and such, but I do have to click the power button to wake up and it takes a little longer than when in sleep mode.
