I have this lap for about a year now, but i have found a couple of problems.
First, the batterie of my helios 300 does not work well.

And second, my laptop is kind of slow for some reason I can't comprehend. Sometimes the system uses all the memory or all the disk capacity and I don't know what to do about it, my google chrome is slow and sometimes my fps go very low even tho I have the fan activated and also a vpn that helps me to optimise the disk.

Thx for the help, Lluhi

Lluhi firstly check your battery wear with hwinfo or battery bar pro might be faulty if over 20% also if you only have 8gb ram or one single 16gb sodimm forget it its no good  get a proper dual channel set either 8x2 or 16x2 hyperx or vengeance and depending on your cpu for ryzen and 7th gen 2400 and 8th gen up 2666 check your temps if youre thermal throttling you need to optimise your windows properly and undervolt check here and if still needed repaste it with kryonaut or similar if you can yourself without voiding your warranty or send it back to acer to get it repasted with stock paste also im assuming you have a m.2 ssd if not (as there are still many on hdd) get a ssd and clone the hdd into the ssd also windows updates make you pc slow and break most drives 90% of the times do not let windows updates update drivers/firmware or even disable them completely only update whatever you need whenever and manually also if windows start to get slow its advisable to backup everything you need and perform a stock recovery clean install ALT+F10 on boot delete everything option to start new from scratch good luck :)

<a vpn that helps me to optimise the disk>>>

A vpn helps you to optimise your disk i do not see how that can be possible in any way your probably confusing the meaning of a vpn its to access the web securily without your isp detects where you are accessing from VPN= Virtual Private Network so im pretty sure youre wrong with your statement and dont forget to post your full model number :)
