Hi, i have an Acer nitro 5 AN515 i5 Gtx1050, and im a little bit scared with the overheating. Im not playing, and not using much apps right now, and nitro sense says that i have 80°C (20%) on CPU, and 54°C (14%). i use it with a fan and it has room to circulate the air, but i dont know why it is so hot doing nothing. My friend has the same laptop and the normal CPU temperature is arround 80, while i go arround 96 in the same game.
The Nitro sense seems working and i hear the fans spinning.

Please, i need help :)

throttlestop is useful. usually i get peaks of over 75C on idle unless I disable turbo boost through Throttlestop. You can also undervolt your computer after a stress test. Depending on the ambient temperature in your area, computer can heat up to 95C quickly under some intensive games, even if you use undervolt and disable the turbo. Some heat spikes are expectable with particular games.
That said, if you use throttlestop properly, at the very least, your idle temps should go down a lot.
I am assuming your computer's new. So unless you left it somewhere you shouldn't have, dust buildup seems unlikely.
