I've had my predator G3-572 with a GTX 1060 6GB Video Memory and 7700HQ processor for 2-3 years now, started to cause a problem with thermal throttling and high temperatures last few months
Despite putting on max fans, undervolting both CPU and GPU per advised guidance, had a thermal repaste job done along with cleaning of fans, as well as a cooling pad, I still get temps up to 96% even when I lover resolution and graphics settings etc, I have no idea where I can go from here, advice needed!

tsongsmith   If you optimized your windows properly/undervolted check here and repasted it properly with kryonaut or similar and still have issues its definitely a bad repaste my temps went down 25+ after i optimized/undervolted/repasted this was 2 years ago same temps today fans on auto coolboost on (though you should repaste once a year or when u feel the temps start to get high again)

Thanks for the response, recently I had the thermal paste reapplied (mx-4) and fans cleaned by a professional, they also updated various BIOS etc. Its strange however that whenever I try to undervolt the CPU with XTU  or Throttle stop, it tends to crash on games at voltages way sooner than what other people seem to be able to push their same model, I got crashing even when only reducing core and cache voltage offset to -0.115 V. As well as this it doesn't seem to affect temperatures at all. It seems no matter what I do they just stay at 90+ while gaming no matter the settings.
