@_Raymond0523 as @brummyfan2 stated you have to options here either get another 8gb to match your current or 8gb out and get 2x8gb hyperx this for 16gb for 32gb get 2x16 do not mix different sizes you wont  be working in dual channel i suggest you always get a read dual channel set from the same brand for best performance the lower cl the better hyperx is perfect for that i can also recommend vengeance its what i have right now

    Hi,
HyperX RAM is compatible with your laptop but you have to match the size to get the dual channel mode(either 2x8GB or 2x16GB), you also should pay attention to the CL value as well, however, adding more RAM will increase the performance, it may work, as you already have the module, install it and see how it goes.
If it doesn't work, you have to get another 8GB 2666MHz with same CL value as your current module or get another 16GB of Kingston HyperX Impact and replace the current 8GB module.
You can see it's compatible in this video description:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qCWh4UyfQU_Raymond0523 said:
Hi , im the same person that asked this question but i have no idea why Acer need me to create another acc using the same email...  I watched that video before decided buying Triton 300 nice video btw =) . Back to the topic, what does "match the size to get dual channel" means , means like I have get the same 8GB DDR4-2666MHz with the same CL value or choose to use 2 HyperX 16GB DDR4-2666MHz in the other hand. Thanks alot for your reply.
Maybe its because im not the same ID that ask this question ?

Raymond0523 Yes probably :) and back to topic you need to pair 2 sodimms same size same clock same cas latency to work in dual channel 2x4=8  2x8=16  2x16=32 i recommend either hyperx 2666 ready dual channel kits as it has the lowest latency the lower the better and also has built in jedec xmp or vengeance or if you still wnat to keep the stock try to find a match for it with similar latency which sometimes its not easy because the stock sodimms are manufactured on purpose for the devices they arent available for sale on the market only for warranty replace/repair or unless you find someone who is selling it used (it will still work in dual channel if it has the same size/clock)
