Turn machine off. Remove charger. Insert and gently press a paperclip into the battery reset pinhole for 60 seconds. Plug the charger back in. Wait for the battery charge LED to turn from steady orange to steady blue. Then try it again. Jack E/NJ

So, I have an Acer Swift 1 (SF114-32-C0F3) and after not using it much for a while the keyboard has stopped working. Similar to OP, my backlight and power button still work, I have narrowed it down to a hardware issue, as I cannot enter bios on startup and even through the recovery>advanced settings method I can get into bios, but not navigate with keys.

I have removed the back cover and battery many times to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard, but to no avail.

I was just wondering what the next step is? I have no warranty.

Should I buy a keyboard on Ebay and attempt to replace it?

Check to see if an external USB keyboard works first. Jack E/NJ

I should have mentioned, I absolutely have done that. This is how I was able to sign in to the laptop initially. Can confirm USB keyboard does work.

If you have the OPs model, replacement KBs are very inexpensive but labor intensive because they're usually sold integrated with the top cover and palm rest. Part no 6B.GXVN1.009 about $60USD. Jack E/NJ

If you don't have exactly the same model as the Original Poster, let us know which model you have, which color the case is and which language your keyboard is for.

I cannot say for sure if it is the exact same model as OP, but it is an Acer Swift 1 (SF-114-32). Case is gold, has 64gb eMMC storage and Celeron N4100.
As for language, I live in Australia, so either UK English or US English.
I have already purchased a keyboard (US English) from Ebay within Australia for $48 including postage.
I will update whether or not I was successful installing the keyboard or not.

Furthermore, upon inspecting the part number given, I noticed this product includes the palm rest. Will I require any additional equipment, such as adhesive, to mate the keyboard with the palm rest I currently have?

As mentioned earlier, replacement bare KBs are very inexpensive --- less than $25USD. But because they're usually sold integrated with the top cover and palm rest, they are labor intensive to replace on the original top.  Part no 6B.GXVN1.009 about $60USD. Aliexpress sells the bare keyboards if you want to try to do it yourself and save the labor cost. Jack E/NJ

Okay, I don't need to know where to get the bare keyboard anymore, I have already purchased one as previously mentioned.
I do not have the time to wait for things from USA or Aliexpress, as I need my laptop for university asap.

I was merely asking what is involved in replacing the bare keyboard into my palm rest.

There are no keyboard replacement videos specifically for the Swift 1, so I will be attempting this with very little guidance.

The SF114-31 is similar to the -32 so check this video https://www.laptopkeyboard.com/installation-guides/swift-1/acer/sf114-31-p3u6/
