Every time I play Fortnite I conect the charger, but it doesn´t reach´s 100% because from 84% it says "Plugged in but not charguing", how do I to fix it?

I think this is the problem, if your battery is not at 100% before gaming the processor will never operate at high performance.
Try a battery reset. Turn off and unplug your laptop, place a straightened paper clip in the small hole with a battery symbol next to it on the underside of your laptop, press and hold for 10 seconds, then do nothing for 15 minutes, after 15 minutes plug back in and power up, do not open any programs or games and wait to see if your battery charges to 100%

If this does not work then reset your battery meter. Drain your battery to just under 10% (not down to zero) and recharge it, when it stops charging drain it again and repeat for a total of 3 times.

I will try, but the processor operates at 100%, reaches 3.9 Ghz, the problem is that it lowers its frequency every 3 seconds, making unplayable fortnite in low. This is what happens https://photos.app.goo.gl/K4PtsMX6VoxsYj2y6

I noticed that there is a similar noise when you unplug the power adapter and the computer only uses the battery. Try uninstalling the AC adapter and battery drivers in Device Manager.

@egydiocoelho he has done the battery reset my friend. @EIAguaterIN probably a bad battery if it is not at 100% before gaming it will not stay at 3.9ghz. If you are under warranty contact Acer for a replacement

  • Hi my friend @andylb. I think he has probably tried to reset the battery but has not yet posted the result. However, I also think there must be some problem with the battery, as the battery is not charging up to 100% as you already mentioned.
