Acer PH315-51 - I cannot select anything in the bios

Let me check if I get it. When pressing f2, you must enter a password, correct? If so, as colleague xdxd asked, are you entering a password you had created in setsupervisorpassword or are you entering any unlock codes from some sites like bios-pw.org?

BIOS-pw.org doesn't work for Predator models. I had tried that when one of the BIOS updates locked my BIOS. Got it solved by installing the next BIOS lol.

I may be wrong, but on g3-572 models those codes seem to work. Yes, sometimes a bios update may also erase the bios password that may have been installed by Acer.

Didn't work on my G3-572. Putting that code there showed the unlock codes but not for Acer laptops.

Yes I cannot navigate or select any option available in bios except exit and in exit I can only have an option to select exit and discarding one

1.25 got an update of 1.26 updated and all the settings were default after updating but still cannot navigate and the passwords are still there.

Okay the issue has been solved thank you for your help. There were 2 passwords instead of supervisor password I was using user password so now it has been solved .

But now how will I remove the supervisor password,HDD1 and all the passwords

Just to add a suggestion it might work or not but F9 loads bios setup defaults and F10 saves and exits and BittuGupta what have you done exactly to get it back to normal please share the procedure for anyone in future to be able to see it and solve it quickly

And @egydiocoelho just a reminder we do not support in any way any kind of bios password unlock neither unlock codes procedures it is strictly prohibited as far as im aware and all the warnings i had seen by the acer staff

also @XdxD you can set up the supervisor password in order to be able to disable secure boot but right after set it back to disabled/not set and then when finished with the secure boot disabled (for whatever the reason you would need it so) set the supervisor pass again to enable it back and disable the supervisor pass again this is always the best way to avoid any pass issues in the bios

Will not work @xapim. But what happens is that when the user uses some unlock code, those bios options are hidden, that is, it does not allow the user to make other changes to those options. That was why I was unsure whether or not the other user had used any unlock codes.
