2019 Helios 300 (PH315-52) backlit keyboard is turning off 30 sec after last key press

So, I just ordered this laptop on Friday and it just got here this afternoon. I have been playing around with it and setting everything up since then. I installed all the updates (as far as I know), including the BIOS. When I am typing, the blue backlit keyboard is on, as it should be. But, then when I don't use it for a certain amount of time (when I timed it, it was 30 seconds) it turns on. I am sure this is some sort of intentional setting but I'm not sure how to change the setting. I don't think any of the Fn keys control this. Fn + F9 dims the backlight and will eventually turn it off entirely, while Fn + F10 increases the brightness of the backlit but that is it. It has been like this since I turned it on. I googled a little bit and saw this was an issue with prior year models (it appears it used to stay on all the time and then a BIOS update changed that at some point.) I should note that the laptop is plugged in. It is the same on battery. Any help would be appreciated it.

@fritofloyd you can try this PS version from the H700 its the latest and its what i use on my G3-572 just follow the steps carefully and see if it solves your issue or still the same if still the same you will probably have to wait for a future bios update with that options added

@xapim Okay, so I'm not sure if I should feel silly or not. I downloaded the software that you linked and I thought that it made no change. I still didn't see a "Lighting" category and I even confirmed to make sure that I had the right version installed. I was typing out my response to you to thank you for your effort when I decided to go back and check one more thing. I went into all of the "Options" at the top right corner of PredatorSense application. And, lo and behold, there was a "Keyboards Settings" section right under the "Advanced Settings" section and it had a toggle switch for the backlit keyboard timeout issue. I feel like I checked there before but I can't say I am 100% sure that I actually did. So, downloading the new software might have helped, or the option might have been there all along but either way, the issue is fixed and I'm not sure I would have figured it out without your help [and I also discovered the PredatorSense phone app, which is so awesome for monitoring during gaming!] I will mark your response as the correct answer and hopefully when people are having this issue in the future, they will do a google search and find this thread. Once again, thank you so much! Oh, also, damn, dude, your desktop gives me anxiety but if it works for you, then that's great (lol.) I hope to have that many games downloaded on my PC one day. For right now, I am just playing the hell out of some modded Fallout 4.

@xapim Thank you very much for the reply but unfortunately, that option is not in my BIOS. It is v1.05 which is supposedly the most up to date version, according to the Acer website. I also see nothing in the PredatorSense software. I probably should have noted that I have the version that just has a blue backlight on the keyboard. This is not the RGB version of the 2019 Helios 300. I know that version does have a menu in PredatorSense (from what I've seen in YouTube videos and ads, it is called "Lighting" I think.) I also searched around the computer for any other kind of software or software that might control the backlighting but couldn't find anything. Also checked in the battery saver options and didn't see anything there, either.

If you, or anyone else, can help me figure out another solution, it would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
