Am on 1.22 and haven't noticed increased temperatures. Maybe 30°C is the reason here.
Mine went from 65-70, spikes to 75 to 70-75, spikes to 80+ on CPU. So well... or maybe my laptop is misbehaving.
Which driver are you on of NVidia?
42x. But that shouldn't matter much here given that nothing in my system changed except for BIOS.
    That's correct though.

@XdxD ups :( thats not good so the best its to never put a pass on it or when needed to disable secure boot remove it after what about removing the cmos battery that technically should delete every saved memory/passwords in the bios at least in older laptops/desktops not sure now

I got my password unlocked via a 3rd party, and am back on my beloved windows 7 :-) enjoying amazing battery life... 98.8% to 84.1% in 59 minutes :-) discharging at about 7000-8000 mW :-)

I take it off power supply once in 1-2 months n use it until it reaches about 5% and then charge it back to 100%. This is all I do. I am happy how this gives me about 6+ hours of light-medium use per charge.
