    SorryNanny , the ALT+F10 reset suggests a likely hardware problem. Either the battery or the laptop's mainboard charging circuit. I suggest trying to replace the battery since it costs less than $30. Just Google "E5-575T" and "battery". Many sellers including Amazon and BattDepot will pop up. Repairing the charging circuit would probably not be practical if you can still use the system plugged in. Jack E/NJ
