I've this Acer swift 3 Ryzen variant,I am unable to install Ubuntu alongside windows, every time I plug in the USB and tried to install it,Ubuntu boot up image appears which is followed by some command line script.. The latest version of BIOS is installed on the system.I m sure the partition table is GPT while flashing the Ubuntu OS to the disk(I have used Rufus) and I tried adding grubx64.efi to trusted boot settin
gs but to no avail. The picture attached has the script that has appeared.Any help would be very much appreciated...

Here's another link (possible workaround).
"by adding the grub arguments noapic noacpi nosplash in place of quiet splash."

You could try using a different USB port or try the solution in link below....although it is for Lenovo Ryzen laptop. NOMODESET and/or NOAPIC
I would probably make sure I had the latest BIOS and make sure I created a USB recovery drive first.

What do you mean by 'tried'? https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/598047/#Comment_598047 Jack E/NJ

Thanks for quick reply .
@JackE By tried I mean, when secure boot is enabled ,I could select some option in the bios which says something like trusted boot setings, then it would ask me to select between HDD and the disk I plugged in and navigating subsequently lead me to an option grubx64.efi and I have selected that,no where have I seen Ubuntu while navigating (if it helps).I just tried it hoping for some improvement over current situation, even though I don't know much about the outcome.
@JordanB thanks for your effort ,I tried changing the port,I am sure the disk is not the problem as it worked on my friends laptop, yes the system is on latest BIOS version. The link you have attached has a situation which might arise when a CD is used, unfortunately none of the images in link were helpful as I haven't come across any of them during installation.I tried using nomodeset in a way people suggested in this this thread.
But to no avail. The image attached in the above link is exactly what my system boots to,when the disk is plugged in.
Anything else I could try? or Am I doing something wrong?
Is it possible this issue might be related to hardware?

Prasanna>>>>grubx64.efi and I have selected that,no where have I seen Ubuntu while navigating (if it helps).>>>
I think this may be your problem. In the installation link above, item #10
(10) Re-enable secure boot(BOOT) & select UEFI file as trusted(MAIN). Select HDD0, SSD0 or eMMC0, then <EFI>, then <ubuntu>, then grubx64.efi the UEFI file. Enter grubx64.efi in the space provided if selecting it doesn't automatically enter it. Save BIOS setting and exit.
Selectiing it sometimes doesn't do the trick of actually entering and writing the efi file into the efi partition. You must actually type and enter 'grubx64.efi' from the keyboard before it'll be written to the efi partition.

Ok, I'm not sure why you can't install it. I guess you could try with Secure Boot disabled. Hopefully @JackE can help you figure it out. It's always hard to say if the problem is with your BIOS or if the problems is with Ubuntu. Your guess is as good as mine. Good luck.

But I never reached #10,I am stuck at around #5.When I plug in the disk and boot the system I get options saying "try Ubuntu without installing" ,"install" etc.Selecting any of the options above would lead to a page with Ubuntu logo and 5 dots, then it would give me errors in the image, I have posted initially.0

Your install stick or whatever is on it apparently doesn't like any of your USB ports --- or vice-versa. Doesn't matter which.
So first, if you haven't done so already, wipe the same stick clean and remake it with the same installation iso or a new download thereof.
If it still doesn't work, wipe the same stick clean again and remake it with another Ubuntu installation iso flavor.

I did find a solution (workaround) in the link below although I don't know if it will work on your model. It is for an Acer AMD Ryzen model, but not Swift 3 Ryzen and not your exact errors (you're not really getting ACPI errors). I don't have high confidence it will solve your problem. You should list your complete model number.
pci = noacpi

Edit: The photo below looks slightly **similar** to your screenshot.
