Hello everyone,

Everywhere I look around this forums says Acer Nitro 5 supports NVMe, but here is the problem :-1:
I have the model with 1tb HDD and 1050gtx 2gb

Here is the infosheet I have found about it :
This infosheet fits perfectly to my model, from chipset to everything there is, so i am sure i have that. Here is another version AN515-52
https://www.jmt.bg/productfiles/NEW_NITRO_5_AN515-52.pdf << this is not mine, as it does not have 2gb gtx option.

So here comes the confusion:
The version I have, in the Storage part says only SATA 6gb/s SSD.  The other version , AN515-52 says also PCIe gen3 8gb/sn 4 lanes.

When I look at the HWinfo64, this is what is written:
This is also says it have several PCI e x1 and x16 v3.0 slots (Which are already filled I suppose)

So does that mean, my motherboard supports this, BUT i do not have a emtpy slot? Or my slot interface works in SATA,  I can put in NVMe, but it will work only on SATA speeds? (which makes more expensive NVMe completely meaningless if they will work on SATA speeds).

Can someone explaine this contradiction? Also, is there a way to know if indeed there is a free M.2 slot without opening my laptop?

thanks
