Yep. Your RAM has lower CAS latency. So it is in fact quicker. Enjoy your 32GB.

A bit late to the party, but the information you have asked:

These are the factory installed 2666 Mhz RAM modules in the Intel version.
Please note that if you install more RAM make sure they have the same CAS latency.
I have installed Kingston 2666  Mhz CL15 RAMs which support XMP profile and the BIOS ran all 4 modules in dual, however it has downlocked them to 2400 Mhz @ CL 17.

I added 2x16GB RAM Gskill (found for 170€ on ebay) in addition to 2x8GB Hynix RAM already installed. No problem at all, each memory channel is filled with 24GB. I run all the RAM at 2666Mhz. Performance is great!

@vanadium, would you mind telling me exactly which RAM these are? I haven't that much knowledge about RAMs but I understand you overclocked the other ones (originals 2400Mhz) to 2666Mhz, right?
I am from Germany ... our Predator Ryzen comes with some other specs:
So my RAM will have 2133Mhz. Therefore my 2nd question: do you think it is possible overclocking those to 2666mhz?
At the moment I am wondering if I better change all RAM to

    HyperX Impact - DDR4 - 4 x 8 GB - SO DIMM 260-PIN - 2933 MHz / PC4-23400 - CL17.

But then I still do not know if those are working with ryzen 7. They do work with AMD but not all are compatible with Ryzen yet. Do you have any idea? Therefore it would probably be easiest for me to try it your way and I would really like to know the model you use ;). Thx in advance.

@LaLaFee you cannot overclock your ram all bios are locked so overclocking ram its out of question my suggestion is upgrade to 2666 i have 32gb hyperx 2666 (not cheap though) this if you want to bin the original sodimm you have like i did but if you want to keep it you have to match it with another sodimm same clock/CL
