    @egydiocoelho Thanks for the email, try it but it does not work, I do all the steps correctly and it does not work, as can be seen in the video when I precede FN + ESC the power LED does not stay flashing and I think it will not be possible for me to repair it. But really thank you for all your help.

    @JackE I'm sorry for all the misunderstanding. This is what happened:
    1.- Black screen
    2.- I spoke to the Acer Call Center and they said that they were not responsible for bad BIOS updates, they told me to go to the Authorized Repair Center.
    3.- In the Authorized Repair Center a man (the only one apparently because the place was empty) told me that the warranty did not cover anything related to the bios, but that they could repair it for 50 dollars.
    4.- I went to the community because they have helped me before and I have also commented some issues trying to help.
    5.- I lost hope, I will save money.

  • Unfortunately the bootblock area was also corrupted! However you can check if the picture still appears by connecting the notebook to an external monitor! Look this!

    The process should be done as follows: turn off the notebook; plug the pendrive; press fn + esc and then you should connect the notebook to the electric power and with the fn + esc still pressed, press the power button!

    No misunderstanding. Unless the ACER Call Center can prove in writing that a failed BIOS update recommended by ACER  is NOT covered in the ACER warranty, then the repair should be covered by the warranty. Jack E/NJ

    I did it already, it happens the same as in the video, until I try to follow the procedure without main battery, then without main battery and without CMOS battery, try everything and it does not work. Thanks :) I'll go with someone who flashes the BIOS or I'll buy the device on my own, when I get it back I'll let you know right here. Maybe I'll program a microcontroller for SPI communication and see if I can write it.
