I did everything already that y'all suggested and said. I uninstalled drivers and installed them. Updated my OS and everything. Still got nothing. Please help. I still don't have my dolby audio equalizer.

I had the same issue after factory resetting my laptop. Please head over to Realtek's website and download the most current audio drivers (Version 2.82):

    http://www.realtek.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

After installing the first portion of it, restart your computer and finish the installation. You should now be able to search up "Dolby Audio" in the start menu and it will create the tray icon for you.

Let me know if this helps!

I believe you can find the actual dolby audio installer in Realtek's folder DAX2 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Realtek\Audio\DAX2" and try to manually install it.

Some people had the same issue in this thread: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/447598/where-to-get-dolby-drivers

Also see if you can find the dolby folder: "C:\Program Files\Dolby\Dolby DAX2\DAX2_APP"

But again, normally the dolby audio is just packaged within the realtek driver installation.

I can't install the APP because it needs the API installation which I can't install for some reason. It says "The File 'C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Realtek\Audio\DAX2\' is not a valid installation package for the product Dolby Audio X2 Windows API SDK. Try to find the installation package 'dax2_api_release_x64.msi' in a folder from which you can install Dolby Audio X2 Windows API SDK."
I already selected the file and it just says the same thing.

First of all, what did you do that you lost Dolby EQ?

I did nothing. I just updated windows and after that, the Dolby EQ is missing.
