ven98 the video is not showing how to apply thermal solution...please give me some tips ...cheers
It depends on what thermal paste you are using. For example MX-4 is very easy to spread, so I would use the pea method. Apply a tiny drop of thermal paste in the middle on the CPU die(if it isn't square shape, spread the paste in a line in the middle) and then place the heatsink on top. Gently apply pressure on the heatsink and the themal paste will fill the space, without leaving air bubbles. Thermal grizzly recommend a different method of applying their thermal paste and it is to spread on the CPU die and then place the heatsink on the top. Usually there is a guide included that comes with the thermal paste. Liquid metal should be applied using the same method - spread around the die and place the heatsink.

Note: You want to apply as little thermal paste as possible. Thermal paste is only used to remove the air gap. Adding more thermal paste will have the opposite effect.

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

It should spread, using the pea method.
