I have tried using a restore point, reinstalling windows 10, resetting the laptop to factory(friend that does laptop repairs attempted it) every possible restore I can try with back up discs AND back up USB's but nothing can anyone here help me it isn't under warranty anymore. Thx for the help or attempts to help

FAQ & Answers
Have you tried this

I know you said you tried recovery. Did you try ALT + F10 at boot?
If your laptop has a factory system, the update should not have messed up the Recovery. Try one more time and as soon as you hit start, hold down ALT +F10 until you see "Please Wait".
Does it get stuck at a screen with the circle spinning around and saying something like 75% and you are rebooting it or is it rebooting itself?
Are you trying to reinstall with a disk or usb? Did you make a Recovery drive from the Acer Recovery?
When you get to the install screen, click Repair your computer. You can try repair boot.
To install from disk, you will have to go to the command prompt and type diskpart, then list disk
The HDD will be disk 0, type select disk 0, type clean
This will wipe the whole hdd. All the partitions, recovery included. Then type exit, exit. Shut down and boot from your Recovery drive, if you have one or the install disk and install. It should install fine now.
But, if your recovery partition is still there, you can try this,

When you got to this screen, did it look like this and did you press next.
I would download and burn another copy of Windows 10 or 8.1.
With a good Install disk, it should install fine from there.
Win 10 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10/
8.1 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8
There is also the possibility your HDD is defective.
type wmic
then type diskdrive get status
I'm not sure if wmmic will work from a install disk.
Download the HDD mfr's HDD utility or Hiren's boot cd and use an included HDD test.
